London Chop House, Detroit: I had an opportunity to have dinner at London Chop House in Detroit after the North American International Autoshow. The London Chop House is located not really in the basement, but more of a garden level, a few stairs down from street level similar to Vertical.
I sat at the bar and the service was excellent and friendly. The facility has bar, table and booth seating all in one large area. Overall it was a very positive experience.
Entrees: For my entree selection at the London Chop House I enjoyed the sauteed lake perch with shrimp and roasted red potatoes top with lump crab. It was excellent and reasonably priced for the venue.
Wine: For wine I order a house Chardonnay, they had different 3 chards by the glass. All of them were reasonably priced.
Parking: Parking in the area is mostly paid parking. There are some surface lots as well as parking decks in the area.
